# Gigabits to Megabytes Conversion Table

 Gb  =  128 MB

# How to convert from Gigabits to Megabytes

Since 1 gigabit is equal to 128 megabytes, we could say that n gigabits are equal to 128 times n megabytes. In other words, we could use the following formula:

megabytes = gigabits x 128

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2 gigabits to megabytes. Then, we just replace gigabits in the abovementioned formula with 2:

megabytes = 2 x 128

That is, 2 gigabits are equal to 256.0 megabytes.
