# Gigabits to Megabits Conversion Table

 Gb  =  1024 Mb

# How to convert from Gigabits to Megabits

Since 1 gigabit is equal to 1024 megabits, we could say that n gigabits are equal to 1024 times n megabits. In other words, we could use the following formula:

megabits = gigabits x 1024

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2 gigabits to megabits. Then, we just replace gigabits in the abovementioned formula with 2:

megabits = 2 x 1024

That is, 2 gigabits are equal to 2048.0 megabits.
