How to convert from MILES to YARDS

Since 1 mile is equal to 1760 yards, we could say that n miles are equal to 1760 times n yards. In other words, we could use the following formula:

yards = miles x 1760

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 miles to yards. Then, we just replace miles in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

yards = 2.0 x 1760

That is, 2.0 miles are equal to 3520.0 yards.
