How to convert from MILES to FEET

Since 1 mile is equal to 5280 feet, we could say that n miles are equal to 5280 times n feet. In other words, we could use the following formula:

feet = miles x 5280

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 miles to feet. Then, we just replace miles in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

feet = 2.0 x 5280

That is, 2.0 miles are equal to 10560.0 feet.
