# Kilobits to Kilobytes Conversion Table

 Kb  =  0.125 KB

# How to convert from Kilobits to Kilobytes

Since 1 kilobit is equal to 0.125 kilobytes, we could say that n kilobits are equal to 0.125 times n kilobytes. In other words, we could use the following formula:

kilobytes = kilobits x 0.125

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2 kilobits to kilobytes. Then, we just replace kilobits in the abovementioned formula with 2:

kilobytes = 2 x 0.125

That is, 2 kilobits are equal to 0.25 kilobytes.
