# Kilobits to Bytes Conversion Table

 Kb  =  128 byte

# How to convert from Kilobits to Bytes

Since 1 kilobit is equal to 128 bytes, we could say that n kilobits are equal to 128 times n bytes. In other words, we could use the following formula:

bytes = kilobits x 128

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2 kilobits to bytes. Then, we just replace kilobits in the abovementioned formula with 2:

bytes = 2 x 128

That is, 2 kilobits are equal to 256.0 bytes.
