How to convert from FEET to METERS

Since 1 foot is equal to 0.305 meters, we could say that n feet are equal to 0.305 times n meters. In other words, we could use the following formula:

meters = feet x 0.305

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 feet to meters. Then, we just replace feet in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

meters = 2.0 x 0.305

That is, 2.0 feet are equal to 0.61 meters.
