How to convert from FEET to CHAINS

Since 1 foot is equal to 0.015 chains, we could say that n feet are equal to 0.015 times n chains. In other words, we could use the following formula:

chains = feet x 0.015

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 feet to chains. Then, we just replace feet in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

chains = 2.0 x 0.015

That is, 2.0 feet are equal to 0.03 chains.
