How to convert from AMPERES to CENTIAMPERES

Since 1 ampere is equal to 100 centiamperes, we could say that n amperes are equal to 100 times n centiamperes. In other words, we could use the following formula:

centiamperes = amperes x 100

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 amperes to centiamperes. Then, we just replace amperes in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

centiamperes = 2.0 x 100

That is, 2.0 amperes are equal to 200.0 centiamperes.
