# Square meters to Hectares Conversion Table

 sq m  =  0.0001 ha

# How to convert from Square meters to Hectares

Since 1 square meter is equal to 0.0001 hectares, we could say that n square meters are equal to 0.0001 times n hectares. In other words, we could use the following formula:

hectares = square meters x 0.0001

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2 square meters to hectares. Then, we just replace square meters in the abovementioned formula with 2:

hectares = 2 x 0.0001

That is, 2 square meters are equal to 0.0002 hectares.
