How to convert from NEWTONS to POUND-FORCE

Since 1 Newton is equal to 0.225 Pound-force, we could say that n Newtons are equal to 0.225 times n Pound-force. In other words, we could use the following formula:

Pound-force = Newtons x 0.225

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 Newtons to Pound-force. Then, we just replace Newtons in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

Pound-force = 2.0 x 0.225

That is, 2.0 Newtons are equal to 0.45 Pound-force.
