# Megabits to Kilobits Conversion Table

 Mb  =  1024 Kb

# How to convert from Megabits to Kilobits

Since 1 megabit is equal to 1024 kilobits, we could say that n megabits are equal to 1024 times n kilobits. In other words, we could use the following formula:

kilobits = megabits x 1024

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2 megabits to kilobits. Then, we just replace megabits in the abovementioned formula with 2:

kilobits = 2 x 1024

That is, 2 megabits are equal to 2048.0 kilobits.
