# Kilobytes to Megabits Conversion Table

 KB  =  0.0078125 Mb

# How to convert from Kilobytes to Megabits

Since 1 kilobyte is equal to 0.0078125 megabits, we could say that n kilobytes are equal to 0.0078125 times n megabits. In other words, we could use the following formula:

megabits = kilobytes x 0.0078125

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2 kilobytes to megabits. Then, we just replace kilobytes in the abovementioned formula with 2:

megabits = 2 x 0.0078125

That is, 2 kilobytes are equal to 0.015625 megabits.
