How to convert from FOOT-POUNDS to INCH-POUNDS

Since 1 Foot-Pound is equal to 12 Inch-Pounds, we could say that n Foot-Pounds are equal to 12 times n Inch-Pounds. In other words, we could use the following formula:

Inch-Pounds = Foot-Pounds x 12

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 Foot-Pounds to Inch-Pounds. Then, we just replace Foot-Pounds in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

Inch-Pounds = 2.0 x 12

That is, 2.0 Foot-Pounds are equal to 24.0 Inch-Pounds.
