How to convert from CHAINS to KILOMETERS

Since 1 chain is equal to 0.020 kilometers, we could say that n chains are equal to 0.020 times n kilometers. In other words, we could use the following formula:

kilometers = chains x 0.020

For example, let's say that we want to convert 2.0 chains to kilometers. Then, we just replace chains in the abovementioned formula with 2.0:

kilometers = 2.0 x 0.020

That is, 2.0 chains are equal to 0.04 kilometers.
